Somewhere on this confusing mass of information known as the
internet, I saw a video of a tinkerer who devised various gadgets for
testing oil.  He set up a motorized version of that Lucas Oil display
and found that at higher speeds many brands of supposed 'sticky'
oil were flung off or cavitated leaving the gears quite dry.......
