Another view of the support structure after removal. Note shiny area on tube in foreground. That is all we had to cut into the tube that runs along the lower edge of the inner splash shield (i.e., along the main frame rail). Behind that can be seen the large hole in the welded area where the rear main support rail for the headlight assembly dips down to meet the frame rail.
