View from the side. The white areas are bondo. I just find it amazing someone would use bondo on frame tubes. We were going to make up the replacement support structure today and get it all welded in, but the guy helping me on this (outstanding auto body repair shop guy who rents a house from me) came over sick, so I sent him home. Hope to get it all done by this weekend and back on the road. I miss driving my 308! Oh....if anyone is interested....I ran my Corvette in the Nevada Open Road Challenge last Sunday. I uploaded a cockpit video of the only interesting section of the course onto YouTube. Url is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiCfcj8Tb-A Initial and ending speeds are about 145. Minimum speed was about 110, but I wasn't looking at the speedo at the time, so I couldn't really say.
