My sentiments exactly. "BooHoooHoooo!"
How about Security Guy heading off Danica before she could tear a new one for Briscoe? Talk about ways to make the Indy 500 even MORE boring. How the hell do you make cars going 220 MPH boring? I dunno - make them all the same?
Speaking about overly long processions how about that 600 mile NASCAR- a-thon? The best part was Juan Pablo imitating a lawnmower. 400 laps in generic cars so closely matched they can only overtake on one of those endless restarts after the deck is shuffled.
"Hey Bubba, the cars are getting too strung out and we need to go to a commercial break anyhow. - Throw some debris on the track and hit the yellow lights"
After that kickass Monaco race it was like watching haircuts. Of course, over here we don't run if it rainzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
New Rule of TV Races - the quality of actual racing is inversely proportional to the length of the pre-race ceremonies.

Poor Danica (Hey, don't you know who I am?) Patrick must have a short memory. After snivelling all day about how her crew and car let her down this year, and after Briscoe knocked her out exiting? the pits, she must have forgotten about the pit crew member that she ran over and put in the hospital a couple of weeks ago. Her 'Prima Dona' act reminds me of the old FM radio jock in L.A., 'Emperor Hudson,' who, when signing off, would say, "Off the freeways, peasants, The Emperor is coming."
But maybe it was just a little of the team owner, Michael (Mow-em down) Andretti rubbing off on her. If I remember right, he ran over is own crew members on a regular basis. Too bad he didn't have his ex-wife as his right front tire changer! It got so bad that there was talk of Michael having a gun sight installed on the nose of his car. <g>
And poor Sarah, crying her little eyes out! I only hope that she was wearing run-proof mascara. What's next with that poor child? It sounds like the next stop on her continuing soap opera is a spot on Maury's 'Who's the Daddy' Show.
And I thought that Roller Derby was exciting! Yer (can't wait til the next race) pal, Ferrari Bubba <g>
