Moog makes the hydraulic servo-valves that activate the clutch, gearshift, throttles, differential and fuel flap on F1 cars. Their sub-miniature E024 servo-valve is a little cube barely over an inch square, only weighs 92 grams (3.2 ounces) and yet can control 5hp of power in a hydraulic system running at 280 bar (4,000psi). Moog servo-valves also were the heart of the active suspension F1 cars.
