For those who are interested in driving out to the Memphis area for the '308
in '08" event this October, some information has been updated below.    I
need to get an idea of who is serious about driving out as I have to give
Harrah's an estimate in order to hold rooms.  So if you are, please drop me

"308's in '08" Drive in event at Harrah's Casino (formerly the Grand Casino)
in Tunica, Ms. 

Who is invited? All Ferrari owners, however, keep in mind that this is an
event to celebrate the 308 Ferrari. All 3x8 Ferraris, including the 328,
Mondial and Mondial T's, F40's, 288's, etc are encouraged to leave their
garages and head to Tunica in early October. To let you know that it's OK,
I'll be driving my GT4 1,244 miles round trip to meet you there!!!!

October 10,11,12, 2008 are the official dates. 

What is planned?

Gathering of your fellow Ferrari Enthusiasts, dinners, car show, tech
session, possibly an autoX or track event (TBA). Harrah's offers a casino,
golf course, clay shooting range, spa, outlet mall and much more so there is
plenty to do while you are there! 

I have a group rate worked out with Harrah's for Friday/Saturday at
$119/nite. For those coming in Thursday it will be less than the weekend
rate. Keep an eye on this thread for instructions on how to register. (You
will need a code to get the rate)
