'Millar's death not suspicious' Friday 1st August 2008
Police are not treating the death of a Renault staff member at the team's factory in England as "suspicious." 53-year-old William Millar died at the team's factory on Wednesday due to a gun shot to the head.

However, the Thames Valley Police are not treating the death as suspiciuos,
suggesting he killed himself.
"A 53-year-old man was seen walking down a bridleway on the Renault site," a
police spokesman told the Telegraph.

"A few moments later a shot was fired. His body was discovered at the scene and
he had died from a shot to the head.
"We are not treating this incident as suspicious and a file has been passed to the
coroner."

Meanwhile Renault have remained quiet on the issue other than to confirm the death of Millar, who worked in the team's research and development department.his colours to the mast. endquote
