Nice pic Jenkins, I too had the pleasure of meeting him briefly at the USGP 
2000. 
 
He was an amazing driver and a real hero even for someone like me who wasn't 
alive during his career.
 
I admired him not only for his F1 championship with Ferrari or his multiple Le 
Mans wins but for his colorful writing in Road and Track.

I had the pleasure of meeting him twice. Once in Seattle, and once at the
Indy F1 race in 2000.



When I took this picture, I was walking by a trailer at the Seattle historic
races, and he was sitting all by himself on the steps a trailer. I walked
over and said "Mr. Hill?" He was very nice, and we chatted for about 10
minutes. I was shocked that nobody else around seemed to care who he was.
