A.J.:

I know you told me once a long time ago (probably even pre-Fire Truck as I
now keep things in chronological perspective due to age) the name of that
independent shop where you dropped off that attorney/state legislator's car for

service in Nashville, but can you let me have the name, and address and phone
number if you still remember it?

It is getting to be that time where my car will require some work by a
Ferrari guy ILO a generalist in foreign cars and I'm going to guess that
Nashville
is as good as it gets as far a distance.

Incidentally, have you finally managed to get assigned to a Pathfinder unit
at Ft. Hood? The Army's Chief Flight Surgeon decided that in spite of the fact
that I was the only aviator in our venue of the National Guard who actually
wanted a tour in Afghanistan, I couldn't have it. He was kind enough not to
employ the Catch 22 logic of "if he wants to do it he must be too insane to be
assigned to do it" but found his own way out. Ah, well at least I can sit in
the new study and watch the CH-47's from the 160th practice their instrument
 approaches here.
