Jody Scheckter's Formula 5000 came up for sale he bought it and raced  it. 
Long Beach first ever on the streets race there and Riverside and oh  Laguna 
Seca.  Sez John when he was trying to heat up the tires - none  of this 
wobble back and forth then - just accel and brake - ol John said  he did that 
a few times and he couldn't see.  My  my.
