Ferrari Mailing List: Correction on Paul Neuman Ring

After talking to der Frau, I want to set the story straight. Paul's ring was 
NOT the Indy Ring, it was the KART Championship Ring that he won as the owner 
of Nigel Mansel's car when Nigel won the Championship in 1992 (?). 

She told him that she got hooked on racing partly because she was a huge fan 
of?Nigel and had her picture?taken with?him at Phoenix. (Before we were married 
in 1991, she had never been to a car race!) Anyway, she asked Paul if she could 
photograph Paul's hand with him wearing the ring. He smiled and stuck his hand 
right in front of her, and joked, smiling and said?"I feel just like the 
Goddamn Pope!" Then sped away down the pits on his Vespa.

Can you imagine anyone doing that with Michael in any F1 pits? That's assuming 
you dressed up like Mistress Helga and told the guard at the gate that it was 
time for that little worm Max's next therapy session, and you weaseled you way 
past him!
