Sorry Bob. I never was too good with names, and after all those Greatful Dead
concerts, I have a hard time putting my left shoe on?my left foot?in the
mornings. ALL the Ferraris were to be very proud of. It was evident that they
weren't just cars, they were objects of tender, loving care. I'm very
privileged and proud to be a part of our family.

It was a pleasure to meet you Ferrariwilly, your love for the marque is
evident. ?Please bring that 208 next time.

We just got back home, and I have to agree with the other attendees. All the
friendly faces and beautiful Ferraris were what?we both expected and saw. I was
particularly taken by the new 430. Too bad more Listers didn't participate, I
was all ready to arm wrestle cLyDe, and my son, the Little Pickpocket kept
asking me where Steve was, to thank him for Cheat Codes, and ask some Code
questions too.

BTW, the Blues Fest (Thurs thru Sat), right across the river in Helena, was a
blast too. It had the same atmosphere as the Long Beach Grand Prix, except you
heard great music rather than a swarm of Indy cars screaming by at 150 mph.
Same? uninhibibited 'party til you drop' crowds, plus same beautiful weather.
The only difference in food was that instead of a corn dog with mustard?on a
stick & fries, you got fried gator tail with hot sauce?on a stick & dirty rice.

Note to Jim: After seeing your 308GT4, I'll be spending the next month or so in
the garage trying to emulate your beautiful example.

Yes, the cars were cool but the people were the best! ?Kathy and I had a great
time. It was a pleasure putting faces to the names.

The event was fantastic! ?Okay, it isn't over, technically, but the meat of the
weekend is. We had 20+ cars ranging from "really, really nice" to "better than
factory fresh.".

I encourage everyone who attended to post your stories and pictures (at full
resolition). This is not a one-off, as Jim will tell you, but merely the first
of a new annual legend. 20 years after the first Hallett event, the attitudes
and friendly banter was identical.

Tech discussions were animated and very useful. More on that from the other
attendees.

And... I now medically need to add a 308GT4 to my scuderia. Damn it Jim, I
should never have driven your car!

Best regards,

Rick
