Hey, to get Bernie's attention in the U.S. is to threaten his wallet. How? Start a rumor! With the reunification of open wheel in the US, threaten to replace the Formula 1 events with Indycar events. Can you imagine running Indy cars in both configurations? Indy at Montreal? The threat of cheaper venues that is currently dominated by Honda and once dominated by MB/Ilmore/Chevy and Ford will definitely also draw in Toyota and possibly BMW. Toyota can't seem to win in F1 even after all the money spent. What better way to get return on dollar than kick Honda's buttocks in the world's largest auto market? Heck, even Mansell wanted to win the Indy 500 once in his career. Either F1 listens or North American open wheel has the opportunity to return to its former glory. This is better marketing than a crybaby pretty girl whining like she's as talented as Mario Andretti every time someone has a "racing incident" with her. Maybe even post a plea for an Indy event to replace the Formula 1 event. It makes advertising dollar sense to me. Just some thoughts. Rodney
