I'm sure you could get away with it, if you invest in the right tires and a
big case of RustCheck.  I'm sure it will shorten the life of the body, and
other bits, but you get to drive it twice as much, and so, you're packing
twice the fun into the same number of years. :-)

If you're getting the car dirty, which you will, putting it away at night in
a nice warm garage, covered in a layer of salt and slush won't do it any
good!

I'm sure it's like any car, drive it year round, the mechanical bits and
seals will thank you, but the body will suffer.  Save it for nice days, all
the rubber bits will probably dry out and leak or fail, but it will look
pretty for a long time.  Guess it comes down to what you're best at fixing
and where you want to spend your money. :-)
