I'd second Dan on that and also say I would use their weatherstripping 
and gasket adhesive.  Its a bit different from the regular trim stuff 
and holds up to that Texas sun a bit better (I used both on my  M3's 
window trim when it started sagging, the trim stuff lasted me about a 
year, the other stuff held until I sold the car (I assume its still 
holding))...

Get 3M #08008  (black)  It also comes in Yellow...  Do not get it on 
anything you don't want it on that stuff takes an act of God to remove!

I picked it up at a NAPA a while back.
