The first time I took my wife for a ride in the 512TR after I purchased it, I was, as you might imagine, in heaven, loving the wonderful sound from the rear (complete with Tubi, thanks to the po). Virtually the first words out of my wife's mouth, after about 10 minutes on the road, were: "Is it supposed to make so much noise?" She hasn't been in the car since. From: rolindsay [at] yahoo.com When I read this subject line I was reminded of the comments of a friend's wife. Scott had just decided to buy a 328GTS, after driving my GTB. On the way back to his house I gave his wife a ride. Upon arrival, an excited Scott asked Carol how she liked it. She said she didn't like it because "...expensive cars are supposed to be smooth and comfortable." Scott and I both realized that the whole Ferrari experience had escaped her.
