As of 10/1/08 you can just about forget crate engines in CT in a new
build. It would be considered current year, and need OBD2 and all the
'09 emissions stuff. I suppose it's theoretically possible but much
easier to just do a donor build. There are several FFR builds in limbo
right now because they used a crate motor that will not pass without
huge amounts of effort.
