fter following F1 Racing since 1956, there's one thing that I've learned. Teams
ome, and teams go, and the world (and racing) still goes on.
Anyone remember Lancia, Maserati, Lotus, Cooper, BRM, and the rest. It'll be
usiness as usual next year, with or without Honda. The only constant is our
eloved Ferrari!
BTW, I won a trivia contest one time. The question was: What year?did Goodyear
in it's first Fi victory? Although being 'under the weather' that night, (it
ust have been something I drank) I correctly named the year, race and driver.
o Figure. . .
Anybody out there got the answer(s)?
Yer trivia buff, Ferrari Bubba

I guess the real question is; Does this mean that they are just not running a
works' team or does it mean that they will also no longer be an engine
upplier? Or both?

Honda says it will not be competing in next year's
Formula One championship - but what does this mean for motor
 racing?
Is Formula One on the decline? Are more teams going to
follow suit? Would the Honda team have been saved by more
 sponsorship deals?

Alistair Watkins, former Marketing Director of Honda F1 and
a Director of sports marketing agency i-nfluence and James
