Now that is what we need, an F-List -PS3 virtual race season... What game can handle networked racing?

Who wants to be my pit crew?

GT5 Prologue can't network (I think I read that)

Can F-Challenge or F1 champ? I can do the Dirt track racing, but with all the snow driving experience I have been getting in Chicago lately it hardly seems fair to the rest of you guys :)

I'm not an avid gamer, but I too like the F1 Championship, GT5, and the
Ferrari Challenge will be under the tree or in my stocking this year... One
game I don't own but have rented and found immensely fun to play is Dirt.
It's rallying of all variants and from what I can tell from my limited time
playing it, is automatically synced into the mothership so you play other
people over the net. I really enjoyed that one and have been looking for it
on Craigslist for some time now. For some reason, it's price hasn't come
down much over the years at Gamestop.

The real use my PS3 gets is playing Bluray discs over 1080p. Wow! I had
pretty much stopped renting movies for a few years but this picture makes
the experience so much more enjoyable.

Oh, yeah! Also get F1 Championship 2006!

And for the sounds alone, Ferrari Challenge is worth it. :)

OK

I have it hooked via HDMI to a 720p projector, but my screen is only a 10 foot diagonal (16:9)and I sit about 12 or 14 feet away. Does the PS3 output 1080p at a decent frame rate? Might need to consider updating the project sometime soon... Is Ferrari Challenge really decent? Is that the one that has formula 1 cars and some races in the rain, I remember seeing a demo of that running a while back and thought the water effects were very impressive... I mastered GT3 on my PS2 a long while back (had the F1 cars in my garage when I was done) so GT5 is a must have no question.

Yes - get GT5 FOR SURE. Also get Ferrari Challenge.

Please tell me you have this hooked via HDMI to a 1080p screen? It's the
ONLY way to enjoy a PS3. :)

It's also an amazing BlueRay player.

Anyone on the list have a PS3? If so what are the must have games for this? My wife already has GT5 Prologue on the short list of Xmas presents for me...

Thanks
