Actually Rick in my mind, $4.00 a gallon gasoline already seems like a bargain, and I have been a proponent for some time of higher gasoline prices ( $4.00 being kind of the cap) even if artificially balanced by much needed infrastructure taxes....( the only problem with that, taxes,) is that as usual they will not be used where needed and when the price of fuel rises again the taxes will not be reduced to maintain this balancing act, but the taxing body (ies) will have incorporated them into there own entitlement program. It is good to hear from the inside of the industry esp. from some one in whom we have trust It is good to see some of the progress that has been made recently within the auto industry into alternative fuels, but you and I will never live long enough to see our lack of reliance on oil as a foundation for most if not all of our needs. I believe that this whole process is one of evolution, unfortunately oft times driven by greed and power. And, thats my opinion.
