While we're on the subject of cleaning, I have a simple question. My understanding is that for purposes of simply washing a car between waxings, e.g., every few weeks or so (at least I'll pretend for the moment that I might ever be so conscientious), most decent car washing products (such as Griot's Car Wash) will suffice, i.e., they won't strip off the existing wax. But when it comes time to rewax the car, if you want to strip off any of the old wax (though I guess that isn't mandatory, except perhaps if you want to use a clay bar or some polishing agent), what do you use to wash the car for those purposes?
