Hey Rick - You da man!!
IMHO the modern cars have been made safe to the extent a moron with 
virtually zero drivers training can drive, get into a wreck (most likely 
caused by their stupid driving) and walk away, leaving the insurance to pay 
for the hulk so they can start the process all over again.

What a cycle!

Which begs the question - how safe is safe enough?  Or, how safe is too 
safe?

I've heard the comment about a person buying a $15k beanmobile should be as 
safe as someone buying a $90K luxomobile..  Not in my book!  Should a 
wealthy person be safer in their car?   Sure, why not?  Everyone is not 
equal - never will be - not even in that socialist utopia some politicians 
are determined to build.  Even though  they personally are unaffected.

Besides, if someone can't afford a new Mercedes they can buy a used one, 
learn to fix it themselves (like I did) be just as safe as Joe Rich Guy -
