btw, I refinished my gold mesh spoked BBS to silver. The center part mesh comes out easily enough with a lot of allen keying, but we discovered that it was magnesium. The first 5 auto painters I called would not touch it with a 10' pole. Called an aircraft painter and he said "no problem". ironically, the aircraft industry gave up on magnesium a long time ago because of corrosion issues. allan -----Original Message----- From: Michael James <cavallino_rapante [at] yahoo.com> On the wheel note, BBS had a nice gold mesh-spoke wheel available (would need refinishing, but a full set turns up on ebay fairly often for not-much $$$), and Nick's Forza also has a set available for the TRX-shod cars....not a fan of the Nick's Forza design, but it does fit and offers a 'lip' if you like that in a wheel (which I do). I just don't care for the spoke design. I believe Nick's Forza does NOT need a wheel spacer, whereas SuperPerformance's wheels do (but are included with-purchase).
