Ever wonder why Roger Penske is a billionaire these days? imho, it's his 100% commitment to the task at hand. I'm watching a perfect example now. His #16 Porsche powered Daytona prototype, in a position to win the 24, limped into the pits with some terminal problems in the rear end of the car. Penske, who had been in his scoring stand in the pits all night, followed the car back to the garage, and supervised the crew as the exchanged the entire back of the car out, from the rear bulkhead back, with a waiting replacement. The job took all of 10 (ten) minutes before it was back on the track turning laps as fast, or faster than the leaders. WOW! I first read about him an a 1958 Road & Track. His father, a sucessful Philly lawyer had bought him an RSK Spyder while the kid was still in college as a birthday present. The 1st time out, Rodger won a hillclimb, and a week later won a regional SCCA Sports Car race. R&T was impressed by this then unknown, and so was I. Anyway, it's back to SpeedTV and the 24. Oh, I almost forgot. Hey cLyDe, yer favorite driver, Juan Pablo Montoilet, the Cocaine King is running in 2nd piloting one of Chip Gannasi's cars. I know you'll be waving your Columbian flag to cheer him on! Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!
