I read the same article - either they're shilling for the 'used market', or its 
a slow month at FORZA.  If you're in the market for either car, I suppose such 
information is useful to help decide which direction you want to go that could 
help sway what an additional $50,000 would buy you.  Otherwise, I find Car and 
Driver's take much more entertaining to read than this....at least they know 
their audience is most-likely NEVER to sit in such cars, let alone take a lap 
or two behind the wheel, and thus put forth more effort to convey the 
experience of driving the car with more color and humor.
 
I used to like the 'early days' of the magazine, when they focused some content 
on the people who owned the cars, and provided a human aspect to the Ferrari 
scene.  Now, all of the owners' names, likenesses and backgrounds is considered 
secret/privilaged and there's no context regarding their experiences and 
lifestyles with the machines.  I guess things were much more 'social' then....

Latest FORZA compared the two....

Had a lot of nice things to say about the CS, but concluded that the 430 is
just as raw & violent with more power and braking performance. I forget if
they compared the exhausts between them....

Some people feel the CS sounds the best of the V8 series....the 430 is a
different kind of sound for a V8 F car.

Nobody is questioning the superiority of the 430's performance, but could
FORZA have got it wrong as far as driving experience? Not elitist or
anything, but magazines (even specialty ones) tend to get it wrong for a few
of us. ;-)

I wanted to start the CS vs. S debate on a Friday....begin. :)

ps - I saw a Best Motoring Jap video showing a 355 Challenge car lapping
Suzuka faster than a 430 Scuderia....!
