I must be lucky, the GT4 Shitbox has only one 'modification' from the
standard Euro version. It's a MPH sticker pasted on the speedo. That's all.
Period.
Absolutely no reinforcement, no smog, no nada. And it came with both
FedGovCo EPA and DOT waivers. That's all I needed to get licensed in Arizona,
after
I got smart.

BTW, with no cats, smog, and the four 2-throat Webers sucking gas and air at
4K RPM, it sounds like a real Ferrari should sound. I was never so
disappointed as the time that I looked at a beautiful USA spec 348 that sounded
 more
like a Singer Sewing Machine instead of a Ferrari.

I tried to license it in the Peoples' Republic of Tucson, but they just
laughed at me at the smog inspection station. So I took it up to my cousin's
house in Bullhead City, and there were no problems at all. End of problem,
although I once did get called for jury duty up there. <g>

Back here in Arkansas, all I needed was the old Arizona plate, registration
and $9.50 to register it as an 'Antique Vehicle,' My new plate is good
'Forever!' No need to renew every year or two. Case closed!

Hi Rick,
Great email -- BTW, do you think the changes you are making have any effect
on selling the car in the future?
