My friend and I were stalking him at Lime Rock. I had the glovebox door to the 
Shelby and wanted his signature on it since he raced Mustangs in T/A.

Even at his advanced age, he was on the go...well, he was in a golf cart...

I miss him too  -  the Parkinson's really slowed him down.  He's a 
pretty amazing man with interests in all sorts of things,.  Everyone 
knows about his racing activities but he was also an Architect, 
author, designer, model train enthusiast and some others I cannot 
recall.

Kind of a modern day Renaissance man.
