They *claim* that ownership is vital.  I had to fax my title all over
the world - FNA, Italy, the moon.  However, I've heard plenty of
stories about non-owners getting in.  So I don't know if it is for
real or all just a big show.

Maranello is a must-visit, even if you don't get into the factory.
Actually, the Maserati factory (near Modena) is a near copy,
other than Ferrari does all the engine work.  The Ferrari
factory museum is unbelievable (open to public).  And all the
gift shops around have stuff that you won't believe, such as F1
engines.

I could spend hours talking about car stuff in Italy, but, well,
I won't.  Email me privately if you like.  Modena is a really
neat place to stay as a base for the general car tour thing
in that area.

(Oh, PS:  Maserati is open to the public, but they very
much prefer advanced reservations.)
