My wife Nancy has Vista on her new Dell and I have XP on my year-old Sony.
Observations:

1. Vista seems like a knee-jerk over reaction to security complaints.
2. Vista is so cute it makes me want to puke - or even consider a Mac.
3. Vista tries to take all the science out of computing.
4. My XP machine is rock solid. Nancy's machine enjoys the blue-screen
   of death.
5. My son, who is a physicist thinks Vista is superior.
6. I'm a geophysicist and I think XP is superior.
7. I'm right. :-P
