Hallet99, LeMans race...we stayed at a run down castle 20 miles south of
LeMans.  Run as a B&B, there were only a handful of guests but the others,
keeping very strange hours, were two of the Audi drivers and their entourage 
of handholder  /  gofers.   

They were an extremely unhappy lot and through their limited English, made 
it known the Audi team operated each segment of the team very separately 
without input.  I.e. the drivers were kept away from the car until practice or 
race 
sessions and I got the idea that other team areas were also compartmentalized
and talked to each other through management only.

Memory filled fun trip.
