They are a pain.  I generally set the rear portion in the correct place, then 
push up and in on the forward portion (resting hand at the 11 o'clock position 
for the left wheel well....1 o'clock on the right).  Get the wheel well lip 
clear of the upper portion of the body panel, then push in the forward portion 
of the wheel well so it is inside the body panel.  At this point, the wheel 
well is inside the body, except for the forward lower lip.  Then push up on the 
forward portion of the wheel well while pulling down on the lower body panel 
until the forward edge of the wheel well can be slid over the body panel and 
into place.

Basically, rotate it into place opposite the normal wheel rotation.

Of course, your results may vary.

I can remove them, but I never can get them back in right.
Do you have to bend/ twist them?
Any tips please.
