Bummer about the rattle, but NICE WORK on the exhaust! Looks great. :)

Subject: [Ferrari] Fun laced with a little frustration

Morning again Friends,

Earlier this morning I wrote, regarding my '83 Mondial QV,

I also need to get the correct Euro. exhaust remounted so the car will
also SOUND great.

Well, I got the exhaust cleaned (its stainless so it cleans up really nicely with WD40 and ScotchBrite) and remounted. Everything went fine, I used new bolts, lock washers and nuts and polished the chrome tips. I then cleaned up and went for the keys. A few minutes later I started the car. It leaped to life, as usual, and sounded great - except for a rattle! Something is touching something in exactly the way that it shouldn't. So my job is not done. I've got to do some detective work and possibly pull it apart again and figure out what's touching what. Still, its been a fun morning.

Regards,

Rick
