Hey Jim,
Sorry to hear someone is bothering your wife. It must be frustrating since you can't be there all the time and she won't consider CCW. If she won't carry a handgun perhaps she'd consider a Tazer or similar non-lethal device that would at least give her some time to get away? Try www.nonlethaldefense.com/ to check out Stun Guns, Tazers, Pepper Spray, etc.

I know there are drawbacks to these kinds of devices but if she will not carry a firearm it would give her some protection. I prefer a handgun - but at least she'd have the ability to protect herself better than not having anything.

You might also want to talk to a local gunshop about alternative bullet types - there are some that are consider non-lethal or less-lethal she may be willing to consider. I'm assuming she doesn't want to consider carrying a handgun out of fear for killing or hurting someone even if they may be trying to hurt her.

   Good luck -

LarryT

Thanks Clyde! She has a file of all the wierd stuff she gets. She says it will help narrow down a search if anything were to ever happen. Each time something like this happens, there is a procedure that is followed and yes, the 5.0. are notified. :) Unfortunately, they won't do anything unless one of these dingbats actually shows up. I can't quite convince her to use her right and CCW. She's a little nervous about being armed outside the house.

I appreciate the Emails on this subject. Thanks for the help.

JIM

Let the police know right away
Maybe they can assist and if something goes wrong it will be a matter of
record
Document everything

Can she change her email address with out to much trouble?
That would seem easier and if the msgs kept coming with an email change you
could then narrow it down
Just a thought

What info does one need to track an Email address. I'd like to know from
who/where an Email originated......how can I do this? Is it possible?
Someone is bothering my Wife at her work....long story, but she is a public
figure and has had a string of incidents this year. I think the latest is
related to this string.
Any help is appreciated!
