Your bench sounds like mine. Everytime I clean it off people (usually me) start stacking stuff on it! Through the years I think I was able to use it as intended for a couple ofmonth during the summer of '91 or so....

Hey Jim - that work bench is disgusting - - - I can see the bench! Mine is,
uh, used for a ton of other things which is why my picture would have been
taken on Terri's kitchen counter - Um when she was out shopping. . .  of
course.  heh heh

Oh, about the shifter lub.  I use SWEPCO 101 Moly Lube.  Race shops.  The
ONLY stuff use on CV joints.

Gang,

I've taken apart my shifter assembly to clean and re-lube it as well as
replace the shift linkage bushing there. What grease should I use with
re-assembly? I have MolyLube and White Lithium grease here as well as some
nasty industrial grease on hand.
