Could be any number of things, from the obvious O2 sensor, to intake manifold 
leak(s),

headers burning out, cats going bad, low battery voltage, alternator issues, 
even seen the relays that power the Motronic ECU causing problems. Have 
somebody competent check it out and make sure they have at the very least a 
generic code scanner. If your car requires the OBDII socket update, it is a 
recall and the dealer has to perform it for free. Call your dealer nas ask them 
to run the car's last six digits for any open recalls.

Since you bought the car from a dealer, I would hope this would have already 
been done.
