Despite the obvious absence of direct Ferrari content -- clearly marked, though 
-- I must confess that I too enjoy these political digressions -- at least for 
a while.

 

Not to throw more fuel on the fire, but though emotionally and otherwise I 
applauded the rescue action, I respectfully think a valid distinction can be 
drawn between situations in which there appears to be imminent danger (e.g., 
apparently threatened immediate use of deadly force to a hostage) and 
situations where, for example, there is good reason to belive that harm -- but 
not immediate deadly harm -- is being planned.
