So, Eric: $2K for the strap only? My friends in Shanghai had the whole F350GT
watch in brushed SS for only $109 usd (Shipping extra.)

But I opted for the Panerai Scuderia Ferrari Rattrapante Chrono. Black face
with the black leather band, white stitching. Both with automatic movements and
sweep second hands.

It appears that Ferrari has more clout with the Chinese government than, say,
Breitling, Rolex, G-P, IWC, and all the rest of the high-roller time pieces, as
the Ferrari models were mysteriously dropped several months ago.

On the same subject, does anyone have a rubber strap for a GP that
hey would be willing to sell?

 List member watch lovers,

A good friend of mine had one of the "ears" break off the Ti case for his
Girard-Perregaux F360GT team watch. G-P no longer stocks the Ti cases, so
they replaced it with a brushed SS case - looks about the same and is much
 more durable (I'm told).

Consequently, he has a Ti bracelet (20mm) that he'd like to sell. This is a
genuine Girard-Perregaux bracelet which retails for $3K, but he's asking $2K
(pretty sure that's negotiable...). Very light wear, no major marks or
dings. Still (back?) in its original box.

Would appreciate spreading the word if you know of anyone interested.

 Thanks very much,

 gp
