Came in in 1986... was owned my the owner of New Zealand independant Ferrari service agents for a long time. He did the upgrades. Also did the heads, valves, suspension, bushes and a lot of the things that can go wrong over time... then it was owned by another chap who had it serviced and the main agents, had a full bare metal respray done and anything that needed doing he did it.

600 miles before I bought the car had a full dealer service... new cam belts, cam seals, crank seals, full carb balance and tune, air con recond compressorn and re gassed, suspension bushes replaced, wheel alignment, brake calipers and master cylinders rebuilt, front discs skimed, new battery, cooling system flushed, new front tyres etc etc!

I consider myself VERY fortunate to have bought this particular car as it is a very VERY well sorted example with only 60k miles on the clock.

Gavin

Sounds really nice Gavin - how did the car get from UK to the land of Peter Snell, Murray Halberg and the killer CanAm Mclarens?
DOUG

Hey Garvin - right or left hand drive?
DOUG

1978 red/Tan 308 GTB, right hand drive, dry sump, sold new in the UK so full
Euro spec with deep front air dam.
Mods are later front brake calipers, GTS rear sway bar, 16 inch Ferrari
wheels, custom made one off stainless exhaust.
Otherwise standard.

My dream car for 30 years, had it for 2 years now and still shake my head in
disbelieve as I pass it in the workshop...
regards
Gavin
