I don't doubt it. Those old timers may have aged, but they'll still gut you 
like a deer out on the track.

I met Parnelli Jones last weekend, and Brian Redman two days ago...both told 
recent stories and their competitive drive was very apparent. 

Even though I wasn't even alive when most of them raced, they are still my 
heroes.

Picture this - Its 1977 and we are at Monterey.  We are campaigning an RSR in 
the four hour endouro.  Our driver/owner, Daddy Big Bucks, manages to qualify 
in slot 4 before a Monterey drizzle impedes the remainder.  The rest of the 
pack, to include Bob Bondurant.  Daddy Big Bucks comes up to Bob and sez - Hi 
Bob - - - I'm the guy in front of you on the grid.  Bob smiles and sez - - - 
and if you're there when the green flag drops I'm going through your f- - -kin' 
doors.  Welcome to the big leagues, eh?  Heh heh
