Differences of Opinion on Testarossa v. 512 TR

I personally like the Testarossa's original look and design way better than the 
512 TR.  The original both in and out is way more unique in style in my 
opinion.  While I do agree that the 512 TR is a better car in terms of 
performance and functionality there is just too much in common with its 
exterior and interior styling with the 348 and even the 355.  The 348 looks 
like a "Mini Me" of the 512 TR and its rims and interior, especially seats and 
dash look were copied onto the 355.  I do agree that the seating is more 
comfortable on the 512 TR.  Then again the price difference is substantial, 
unless you are racing it on a track.  You could have a 308 and a Testarossa for 
the price of a 512 TR.  For these reasons I personally prefer the Testarossa 
and will be getting one down the road to compliment my 308 GTSi.  

No offense to the 512 TR owners the 512 TR is stunning in its own right.  For 
me Ferrari should have done a more distinctive designed with the 348 from the 
start.
