Here's my take on it:  In the previous decade, Ferrari evolved from an F1
team with a production car factory (to pay the bills) - to a production car
factory using F1 to market their production cars and brand.  In my mind,
that is the cause of their loss-of-focus.  Just look at the number of
production cars made versus F1 emphasis.  Thank you Fiat. :-(
