Good points Jim.
Strategy is to management as gravity is to earth - -
ya can't see or touch it but you sure know when its missing.
heh heh

Morning Jim, et al.,

I won't comment on this morning's qualifying so there's no spoiler.

I think that Ferrari is suffering from;

1. The loss of Michael's from-the-car performance analysis work
  from which...

2. ...Ross Brawn could translate the words into technology...

3. ...and all of the the drivers could benefit, on track.

4. The other thing Ross contributed, and the impact of this was
  undervalued, is STRATEGY.

regards,

rick

Rick,

How dare you introduce Ferrari content on a Ferrari
related List. What are you thinking
Man!??? :)

So are you thinking that the 'dumbing down' of
F1 has caught the very forward, technologically leading
Ferrari team off guard? That they have
become stuck midpack as a result of some of the goofy F1
changes?
I would agree,however, I'm astonished that Ferrari
has not caught up yet. There have been seasons
in the past where Ferrari may be behind in terms of a
technology that another team has beat them to the punch on,
but its only a week or two before they are better, badder,
stronger with their own version. I have a hard
time believing that this was all Ross Brawn....they
have had an incredible all around team. This
week in and week out of piss poor performance is HORRIBLE to
watch. The only good thing about F1 for me
is that I'm also a big fan of the Underdog, and that
team for me was Brawn. Its very obvious what he
brought to Ferraris table and now that he's cut loose,
he has "brought it!"

Just some thoughts...

JIM

Hello Friends,

Sorry to introduce Ferrari content on the List. :-P

With all the stress of Ferrari's pathetic performance
this year, combined with an economy in the toilet and a
controversial US administration, we find ourselves scrapping
over political and even more trivial issues, rather
than sticking to posts about our beloved marque and
F1. And I'm probably as bad as anyone else when it
comes to these asides. For that I apologize.

So what is the general opinion here regarding Ferrari and
the 2010 F1 season? I just read all the news available
on Pitpass and F1-Live, then went to the official F1 page
(where basically nothing is exposed) - and I still don't
know anything more than that two immensely powerful groups
are rattling swords and are posturing boldly.

I know F1 is a business - a circus, if you will - and as
such, profit comes above all else. But I can't
help
but believe that this 'dumbing down' of F1 is
counter to all that we hold sacred about F1 in general and
the Ferrari F1 team specifically. Still, that is just
my wildly uninformed opinion. I'd certainly like
to hear how you folks feel about this.

regards,

Rick-the-curmudgeon
