I do remember that name when I think of this car. Apparently he was a  pal of 
Penske's and that was the connection. I believe Penske bought a Daytona at the 
same time this 512 deal went down.

It is interesting how the setup of the car went. They had Traco rebuild the 
motor and they squeezed 630bhp out of it...way more than the factory could. 
They also made their own body with larger wings and redid many of the 
suspension pickup points, springs, sway bars, etc.
