Now I have to say, the only time I have traveled abroad and actually
gone to a McDonald's were when my wife and son came with me to Nice for
6 weeks... That was just to get the food quickly, my son was 14 months
old at the time... Swore we wouldn't do it again. They have KFC and
Walmart here also... The things we do to other countries...
The Pigeon was pretty tasty, but bony and not a lot of meat. I have been out here for a few weeks now, had some Western style food a few nights ago (Shish Kebab) that was really good, but when in Rome... Honestly though? Should anyone be surprised that something cooked in Germany is not impressive? I have not seen the snake on the menu yet, that would be interesting, though I have seen plenty of stuff that would be considered quite out there in the West... One restaurant had fresh turtle (two kinds, soft shell and Crocdilian) on the menu (and in a fish tank near the back of the restaurant). Also visited a grocery store, lots of live seafood, and landfood...
The food is just one part of the whole experience :). Oh and had another massage girl follow me to my room last night... Persistent girls. Did not think to get a picture of her, that might be considered bad form, but very pretty and elegantly dressed (little black dress), looked like she stayed at the hotel (maybe she did?).

But horse in Italy and dog in Korea are quite nice if properly prepared. I also recommend wagu beef sashimi in Japan if you have $200 burning a hole in your wallet... On 6/15/09, Brian E. The food gets old after a couple of weeks, then you start craving McDonalds... Erik On 6/15/09, Mike Fleischer <themightytoe [at] gmail.com> wrote:No And I am not sure what you are implying? Seriously though, if it moves or grows these people will eat it. Had Pigeon for lunch last Friday... Felt good taking revenge on the little b*stards :) Had beef tongue last week, and several examples of I don't want to know... All interesting, apparently Chicken feet are da bomb over here, so those members from Arkansas... You have found your mecca... Mike-- Brian E.
