Shortages?  From where?  Here?  Don't think so....the Global Economy has not 
rebounded yet, so who, globally, is ramping-up oil consumption to 2005-2006 
levels?  Again, price speculation does NOT reflect reality here.  Besides, 
unless Canada and Mexico reduce their output (I haven't heard that they have) 
then our current supply, and thus our prices at the gas pump, should remain 
largely stagnant.  Clearly, they're not.  I like free-market capitalism as much 
as the next person, but this just doesn't wash.

Michael something has happened. Obama has forbidden any more drilling  
offshore, in Alaska, any development of the billions of  barrels of  
oil shale in UT and WY etc etc. Traders, clinging to logic unlike  
those inside the beltway, have bid the price of gasoline futures up,  
anticipating shortages and increased summer demand.

Algore doesn't have policies, he has wet dreams of ambition and  
avarice. Bastard.
