The auto suspension was only available on Euro versions, but could be
fitted to the US versions later (I know one person who did, and who
regretted it).

You're right, Lee - that's TOTALLY unresearched. As we all know, ALL
models have no carpet, no door handles, and no sound system (except for
the 8 cylinder twin turbo symphony behind you). :)

I did get to see TWO 288 GTO Evolutiones at the factory, tho. They were
insane!

AOL's fastest street cars headline caught my eye this morning so I
checked out the slideshow to see who made the list.

The F40 made it & the slide cites some curoius facts I was previously
unaware of such as its ability to automatically raise its ground
clearance when necessary. It also states that the first models featured
a plastic windshield, no carpet, door handles or sound system. Makes it
sound like the rest were not. Whatever. I need a gig writing useless,
poorly researched drivel.

Hey Steve, how's that auto suspension working for you? And did you get
one of the stripper models or one loaded with kit? ;-)
