First of all political views and religious views should not be a part of this 
list.  Expressing these kinds of views on this type of list don't lead to 
anything good.  If you are a racist, a communist or a facist, please keep it in 
the closet because it should not be part of this list.  

If you are going to be critical then the least you can do is get your facts 
straight from an unbiased non-partisan source (yep leave Fox News "Radical 
Right" and MSNBC News "Radical Left" don't qualify as objective news sources).

Get your facts straight at the Peterson Foundation.  Per their data, while G.W. 
Bush was in office for 8 years, the federal deficit rose over $11 Trillion 
dollars.  Bush's war, tax and trade policies seem to have led to this sizeable 
deficit.  Yes, Obama is spending over $1 Trillion or so attempting to change 
the course of this country, the additional Trillion pales in comparison to the 
previous administrations' deficit.  As far as tackling health care, it is a 
fact that if the health care system and its costs are not sustainable.  
Projections indicate that in the coming decades health care, not war oranything 
else will lead to the nation going bankrupt if it is not changed.  

Provided below are some facts about the Peterson Foundation and their 
backgrounds.  They are non-partisan conservative values but have the facts 
straight and can back it, not just a bunch of unwarranted political spin-doctor 
retoric.    

The Peter G. Peterson Foundation was established in 2008 by Peter G. Peterson, 
a co-founder of the Blackstone Group. With an endowment of $1 billion, the 
Peterson Foundation addresses fiscal sustainability issues related to federal 
deficits, entitlement programs and tax policies.

Peter George Peterson (born June 5, 1926) is an American businessman, 
investment banker, fiscal conservative, author, and politician whose most 
prominent political position was as United States Secretary of Commerce from 
February 29, 1972, to February 1, 1973 under Richard Nixon. He was Chairman of 
the Council on Foreign Relations until retiring on June 30, 2007, after being 
named chairman emeritus. He is the Senior Chairman of the private equity firm, 
the Blackstone Group. In 2008, he was ranked 149th on the "Forbes 400 Richest 
Americans" with a net worth of $2.8 Billion. In 2008, he established The Peter 
G. Peterson Foundation with a $1 billion endowment.
