Clyde,
About 32k miles. 1992.
Will try your suggestions -- though probably won't be able to for a couple of
weeks -- and let you know.
Many thanks,
Larry

You can turn the battery off up front with the rotary switch leave it off for 5
min
Crank car
If light goes out your good
If its still on remove rear pannel from behind psgr seat it hids your 2 CPU's
You will see to buttons on top of each
CPU connector
Press the 7-12 button
It will clear all faults
Crank car
If it clears your good to go
If not it is most likely an O2 sensor
How many miles on the car?
What year is the car?

Once again the warning light has appeared. If there isn't any noticeable
adverse effect on performance (no missing, unusual sounds, atypical gauge
readings), am I correct that (1) it's probably a loose wire and (2) no harm
will probably result from driving it (at least 10 miles to my dealer, or
another competent mechanic)?
