If you have an early TR that doesn't have an air pump belt here's a tip for changing the pesky alternator belt that eliminates the undercar work. Go to the next next size longer alt. belt and you can just drop it in from the top and loop it over the engine pulley. There's plenty of adjustment on the alt. tensioner.
