I drove both my 2007 QP AND my Hummer today! :)

Get a well-maintained 2007 or 2008 QP. They are a redonkulous value for what
you get.

Definitely get the Quatroporte! I want a ride in it :)

I think Steve Jenkins has one of those, not sure if he broomed it for a
Hummer or not though.

there are some watch connoisseurs/fanatics on the list. Finlay/Bailey Banks
& Biddle is going through their final liquidation - finally why I purchased
my watches. I thought I'd pass on that Breitlings were 35%, 40% + 10% and
70% off, Zenith is 40% + 10% off, Tags at 50%.... etc. Watches that were
$15k to $20k are below $10k! If I didn't buy that darn M5, I would have
picked up another watch. No diamonds left above 1.5 carats. No more Mont
Blanc pens - damn. Oh well, back to car stuff...

E60/02-08 7's, S-Class, Infiniti, Lexus, etc. Nothing really excites me or
stands out. I was thinking maybe a Bentley but now those are common in my
area as if there was a 2 for 1 sale and it really didn't stir my soul
(neither does my current 7 but that's another story). I need a somewhat
daily 4-door and spotted a few Maserati Quattroporte's that interested me.
I know absolutely nothing about them. Getting a newer luxury car means
maintenance costs dictating I just hand over the credit card and don't
complain. I don't mind that but if the Maserati costs the same to maintain
as an Audi A8L, why not just get it instead. Are there years to stay away
from? Any more finicky than other luxury marks? Preferred years? What if
any items were options? It will be used all year round. I do have other
cars to satisfy my cheap side/self-maintain (I just bought a car that costs
less than "1" wheel on my
7, hehe). This purchase would be in addition to those so I don't need
hear about get a different car or another low mile E38. This would be my
"big buck" car. Just need to decide do I get newer 7, MB, Bentley, etc or a
Maserati. Prices for Quattroporte's are now starting below $40k and sparked
my interest.
